- In a large bowl, crack the eggs and whisk with the milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure they soak up the mixture without becoming soggy.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted.
Cooking
- Place the soaked bread slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 5 to 7 minutes total.
- Flip carefully to avoid breaking the bread.
- Remove from skillet and keep warm in the oven if cooking in batches.
