  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into a round ball. If using, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans or walnuts to coat the exterior.
  3. Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
  4. When ready to serve, remove the plastic wrap and place the cheese ball on a serving platter surrounded by crackers or vegetable sticks.
