- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. You can freeze slices in zip-top bags for later use. Reheat by microwaving for a few seconds or toasting lightly.
