Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out with moist crumbs.
- Cool the brownies in the pan for about 10 minutes. Once cooled, remove them and cut them into triangle shapes.
Decoration
- While the brownies cool, prepare the green buttercream frosting. Once cooled, pipe decorative swirls on each brownie triangle.
- Insert a pretzel stick into the base of each brownie for the trunk.
- Decorate with star candies and holiday sprinkles.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate brownie mix for richer flavor. Refrigerate frosted brownies for 30 minutes before serving for better frosting texture.
