  • 1 cup Chocolate chips or chocolate bars Any type: milk, dark, or white
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cooking oil Helps the chocolate melt smoother
  • 8 pieces Lollipop sticks or wooden skewers For easy handling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry your strawberries thoroughly.
  2. Insert a lollipop stick into each strawberry.
Melting Chocolate
  1. Melt your chocolate with a bit of oil in the microwave or on the stove, stirring often to avoid scorching.
Dipping Strawberries
  1. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, twisting to coat. Let excess chocolate drip off.
  2. If desired, roll the pops in your chosen toppings immediately before the chocolate hardens.
Setting
  1. Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  2. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes until the chocolate has set.

Notes

Ensure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to help the chocolate stick. Use low heat to melt the chocolate gradually, and do not rush with toppings as the chocolate sets quickly.
