Preparation
  1. Season the grilled chicken breasts with salt and pepper to enhance their natural flavors.
  2. Mash the ripe avocado in a bowl until smooth, then spread it generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place a grilled chicken breast on top of the avocado spread on two slices of bread.
  4. Top each chicken breast with a slice of cheese.
  5. Close the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread, ensuring they are avocado side down.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding butter to melt. Grill the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Once grilled, cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.

Notes
