  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) For added crunch.
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional) For extra texture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a medium saucepan, blend chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter over low to medium heat, stirring constantly for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in chopped cherries, walnuts, and mini chocolate chips gently.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours until firm.
  7. Remove the fudge using the parchment overhang, cut into squares, and enjoy.

Notes

Use low to medium heat to prevent chocolate from burning. For a richer flavor, consider using dark chocolate chips. Add sea salt for a sweet & salty combo. If fudge is too firm, let sit at room temperature before cutting.
