Method
 

Cooking the Beef

Adding Ingredients

  2. Integrate tomato sauce, beef broth, and uncooked rice; combine thoroughly.
Simmering
  1. Cover and let simmer on medium-low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the rice absorbs the broth.
Melting Cheese
  1. Once the rice is cooked, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, cover, and let it melt for about two minutes.
Preparing Pico de Gallo
  1. In a separate bowl, combine diced tomatoes, diced onion, jalapeño, chopped cilantro, and lime juice, seasoning to taste.
