Preparation
- Begin by heating the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until they soften and begin emitting a delightful aroma.
- Introduce the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce into the mix, cooking until everything is heated through. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
Make the Cheese Mixture
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, shredded cheddar, grated Parmesan, and heavy cream. Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Stir until all ingredients create a smooth, dreamy mixture.
Assemble the Lasagna
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a layer of the buffalo chicken mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Top with three lasagna noodles, followed by a portion of the cheese mixture, and repeat layers until all ingredients are used. End with a final layer of noodles topped with the remaining cheeses.
Bake to Perfection
- Cover the dish with foil, allowing the lasagna to bake for 25-30 minutes. Once done, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is deliciously bubbly and golden brown.
Prepare the Ranch Drizzle
- For a cool ranch drizzle, mix the ranch dressing with a splash of buffalo sauce and an optional tablespoon of sour cream until smooth.
Serve
- Allow your lasagna to rest for a few minutes before slicing into pieces. Drizzle the ranch goodness on top right before serving.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for quicker flavor. Ensure even distribution of chicken and cheese in each layer. Adjust buffalo sauce to your preferred heat level.
