  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend) This ensures a juicy patty with just the right amount of fat.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adds a savory depth of flavor.
  • 1 tsp onion powder Brings sweetness and enhances the overall taste experience.
  • 1 tsp salt Essential for seasoning.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Adds a dash of spice.
  • 12 pieces slider buns (preferably brioche or sesame seed) Soft buns that cradle the patty.
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (or your choice of cheese) Gooey goodness.
  • to taste sliced pickles For crunch and tang.
  • to taste ketchup A classic condiment.
  • to taste mustard Adds a bit of heat.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing the pan) Ensures the patties don’t stick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Divide the meat mixture into 12 equal portions and shape into small patties.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and grease it lightly with olive oil.
  5. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.
  6. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheese on each. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  7. While the patties cook, slice the slider buns in half horizontally.
  8. In a baking dish, lay out the bottom halves of the slider buns.
  9. Place each cooked patty topped with melted cheese on the bottom buns.
  10. Top with sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  11. Add the top halves of the buns back onto each slider.
  12. Optional: Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds before baking.
  13. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the buns are toasted and golden.
  14. Serve warm and enjoy.
