Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss sweet potato cubes with melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well-coated.
  3. Arrange the coated sweet potato pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced out.
Cooking
  1. Roast the sweet potatoes in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even caramelization.
  2. Once tender, remove from the oven and top with chopped pecans and mini marshmallows. Return to the oven for an additional 4–5 minutes until marshmallows soften and turn golden.
Serving
  1. Serve the Caramelized Sweet Potato Bites warm, either directly from the pan or on a serving platter.

Notes

For the best results, cut sweet potatoes evenly for uniform cooking. Substitute pecans with walnuts if desired. Optionally, drizzle with maple syrup before serving for added flavor.
