Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss sweet potato cubes with melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well-coated.
- Arrange the coated sweet potato pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced out.
Cooking
- Roast the sweet potatoes in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even caramelization.
- Once tender, remove from the oven and top with chopped pecans and mini marshmallows. Return to the oven for an additional 4–5 minutes until marshmallows soften and turn golden.
Serving
- Serve the Caramelized Sweet Potato Bites warm, either directly from the pan or on a serving platter.
Notes
For the best results, cut sweet potatoes evenly for uniform cooking. Substitute pecans with walnuts if desired. Optionally, drizzle with maple syrup before serving for added flavor.
