Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, then add the sliced Bosc pears and brown sugar, simmering for 8-10 minutes until caramelized.
- Once the pears are caramelized, sprinkle crumbled Gorgonzola and fresh thyme leaves over the mixture. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Spoon the pear mixture onto the center of the pastry, leaving an inch around the edges, and gently fold the edges inward.
- Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
