Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Pour the apple mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Drizzle with water and caramel sauce.
  4. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and blend until coarse crumbs form.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
Baking
  1. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the topping turns golden and the apples are tender.
