Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix and Cool Whip until well combined and smooth.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls, using powdered sugar if the dough is sticky.
  4. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until well coated.
  5. Place the cookie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced to allow for spreading.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and slightly golden.
  7. Let cool on a wire rack.
