Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix together all the spices and herbs for the Cajun seasoning. Set it aside to meld the flavors.
Cooking the Beef
  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, sear the sliced beef in a single layer for 2-3 minutes until browned, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove and let it rest.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Stir-Frying the Vegetables
  1. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt. Stir-fry the onion and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes, then add snap peas or green beans, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Return the beef and shrimp to the skillet. Sprinkle with the Cajun seasoning mix and pour in the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Toss together and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve over steamed rice or noodles, garnished with fresh parsley or lemon wedges.

Notes

To elevate the dish, customize the spice level with cayenne pepper or hot sauce. Add cashews or peanuts for crunch, or try a vegan version with vegetables. Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
