Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil water and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the buffalo chicken mixture and place in a greased baking dish, opening side up.
Baking
- Top the stuffed shells with the remaining mozzarella and optionally sprinkle with blue cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
You can prepare the filling a day in advance and stuff the shells right before baking. For a milder dish, reduce buffalo sauce or replace it with a milder sauce. Use whole-grain pasta shells for healthier options.
