Ingredients

  • 1 box box of brownie mix (any brand, baked and cooled)
  • 2 large eggs for the rich texture
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil ensures moistness
  • 3 tablespoons water helps with mixing
  • 1 tube green frosting to cover the trees
  • 1 pack holiday sprinkles for added festivity
  • 1 pack yellow star decorations to top the trees
  • 1 disposable piping bag disposable piping bag for easy frosting application
  • 1 tip Wilton star tip (1M) for decorative piping
  • 3 pieces round cookie/biscuit cutters in varying sizes for shaping the trees
For the Green Frosting
  • 2 cups powdered sugar for sweetness
  • 1/2 cup butter softened to room temperature for a creamy consistency
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for flavor
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk to achieve the right consistency
  • as needed green food coloring to get that festive look

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended and smooth.
  2. Gradually add milk until the frosting reaches a creamy, spreadable consistency that’s easy to pipe.
  3. Attach the star tip to the piping bag and fill it with the prepared green frosting.
  4. Use the round cookie cutters to cut out circles of varying sizes from the baked and cooled brownies.
Assembly
  1. Start layering the brownie circles by squeezing frosting on top of each layer, beginning with the largest circle and working down to the smallest.
  2. Form a peak with the last brownie and add a generous swirl of frosting on top to finish off your tree.
  3. Place a yellow star decoration on top and sprinkle holiday sprinkles around for a festive touch.
  4. Continue the process for the remaining brownies, creating a delightful collection of Brownie Christmas Trees.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients, particularly butter, to achieve a smoother frosting texture. For vibrant frosting, use gel food coloring. Personalize decorations with edible glitter or themed sprinkles.
