Ingredients
  

For the Sausages and Steak Bites
  • 8 pieces British sausages (bangers) Juicy, plump, and bursting with flavor
  • 1 tbsp olive oil To crisp up the sausages
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Tender and juicy, perfect for quick cooking
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Rich and creamy for garlic butter sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Aromatic and flavorful
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped Adds freshness
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper Essential seasonings
For the Cheesy Smashed Potatoes
  • 1 lb baby potatoes Creamy and delicious
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For roasting
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Melty, gooey richness
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped Adds mild oniony flavor

Method
 

For the British Bangers
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the sausages on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the bite-sized pieces of steak to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely browned.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add in the butter and minced garlic. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh parsley. Remove from heat and set aside.
For the Cheesy Smashed Potatoes
  1. Boil the baby potatoes in a large pot of salted water for 15 minutes, or until tender.
  2. Preheat your oven this time to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Drain the potatoes and place them on a baking sheet. Gently smash each potato.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chives.
  6. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Consider experimenting with different fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary. Pre-cooked sausages can save time. Add other vegetables like carrots or brussels sprouts for added nutrition.
