  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 8 fully cooked turkey sausage links
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Nonstick cooking spray For greasing the baking sheet
  • Maple syrup For serving, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until well combined.
  4. Scramble the mixture in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into eight individual triangles.
Assembly
  1. Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese at the wide end of each dough triangle.
  2. Top it with one turkey sausage link.
  3. Roll the dough over the filling, starting at the wide end, placing the seam side down on the baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with maple syrup on the side if desired.
