Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients, ensuring the vanilla ice cream is slightly softened for easier blending.
  2. In a blender, combine softened vanilla ice cream and milk. Slowly add the black gel food coloring until the desired darkness is achieved.
  3. Pour in vanilla extract and blend until creamy.
  4. Chill your milkshake glasses in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to keep your shake cold.
  5. Crush the chocolate cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
Assembly
  1. Pour half of the black milkshake into each chilled glass and sprinkle crushed cookies on top.
