Main ingredients
  • 2 pounds Stew Meat Tender, juicy pieces of beef
  • 1 packet Brown Gravy Mix Savory base for flavor
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup Provides creaminess and depth
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix Adds flavor
  • 2 cups Beef Broth Rich and savory
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Optional for thickening
  • 2 cups Water Optional for adjusting sauce thickness
  • 8 ounces Egg Noodles Classic pairing
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or Olive Oil For tossing noodles
  • 1/4 cup Parsley For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add Stew Meat to the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle with Brown Gravy Mix.
  3. Pour Cream of Mushroom Soup over the meat.
  4. Add Beef Broth.
  5. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.
  6. If sauce is too thin, mix cornstarch with cold water, stir in, and cook on high for 20 minutes uncovered.
  7. Cook Egg Noodles according to package directions and toss in butter or olive oil.
  8. Serve the beef and sauce over noodles and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers for freezing. Reheat with a splash of broth to regain texture.
