Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and adjust the rack to the top third of the oven.
  2. Cut the French bread in half horizontally for uniform cooking.
  3. Place the halves on a baking sheet and spread softened butter evenly on the cut sides.
  4. Bake the bread for 5-6 minutes until slightly crispy.
  5. Remove from oven and spread BBQ sauce over each half.
  6. Top with chicken, red onions, jalapenos, mozzarella, and smoked gouda.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 12 minutes, then switch to broil for a few minutes until hot and bubbly.
  2. Add cilantro on top after cooking, slice, and enjoy.
