Preparation

  2. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken breasts.
  6. Layer mozzarella cheese atop the chicken.
  7. Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese, followed by tomato slices.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
  3. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
