  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed Buttery, flaky, and golden pastry.
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into cubes Creamy and mild, melts beautifully.
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought) Tart and sweet, signature burst of flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans Crunchy and earthy.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves Aromatic, enhances flavor profile.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into 12 equal squares.
  4. Press each puff pastry square into a cup of the mini muffin tin.
  5. Place a cube of brie into each pastry cup.
  6. Top each with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and fresh thyme if using.
  8. Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the cheese is melty.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Ensure puff pastry is fully thawed to avoid tears. Preheating the oven is essential for golden caramelization. Allow bites to cool before serving for better shape.
