  • 1 package Croissant dough Flaky and buttery, ready to envelop the delicious filling.
  • 4 oz Goat cheese Creamy with a slight tanginess that complements the sweetness of the apples.
  • 2 medium Apples, sliced Crisp and juicy, adding a refreshing element.
  • 2 tbsp Honey or maple syrup To enhance flavors and balance the tang of the cheese.
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Adds a lovely depth to the filling.
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted To brush over the tops for a golden-brown finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven according to the instructions provided with your croissant dough package.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into triangles.
  3. In a bowl, mix goat cheese with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon.
  4. Place a spoonful of the goat cheese mixture and a few apple slices at the wider end of each croissant triangle.
  5. Roll up the croissant starting from the wide end to the tip, tucking it in gently.
  6. Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the croissants are puffed up and beautifully golden brown.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.
