  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup shredded coconut, sweetened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional (such as pecans or walnuts)

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, and shredded coconut.
  2. Gently fold these ingredients together until they are well combined.
  3. Add in the halved maraschino cherries and mix again. If desired, sprinkle in the chopped nuts and fold gently.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  5. When ready to serve, garnish with extra maraschino cherries on top and enjoy it chilled.
