- In a small bowl, combine the honey, whole grain Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until smooth.
- Coat the salmon fillets with about two-thirds of the honey mustard sauce and let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
- Once marinated, place the salmon in the air fryer basket and brush with the remaining sauce.
- Cook the salmon for 7 to 8 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve hot, drizzling with any remaining marinade.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a splash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper to the marinade. Marinate for an hour for deeper flavors. Experiment with different mustards or serve with fresh herbs for added freshness.
