Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 18 oz Fingerling potatoes These small, elongated potatoes have a buttery flavor and creamy texture.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil This adds richness and helps the potatoes get crispy.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic infuses the potatoes with a lovely aroma.
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika powder Adds a touch of smokiness to the potatoes.
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme Herb that adds earthiness.
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt Essential for enhancing flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper Adds mild heat to the seasoning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and dry your fingerling potatoes thoroughly and cut them into even pieces, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. In a small pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic, smoked paprika, dried thyme, sea salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant, then strain the mixture to separate the solids from the oil.
  4. Drizzle the flavored oil over the fingerling potatoes in a bowl, tossing gently to coat.
Cooking
  1. Spread the coated potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with fresh or dried herbs.

Notes

For best results, soak potatoes for 30 minutes before cooking for additional crunchiness. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
