Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 325°F (160°C) and line the basket with parchment paper.
  2. Scoop chilled dough into balls and place them spaced out in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry the cookies for 6-8 minutes, until golden on the edges and slightly underbaked in the center.
  4. Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or nuts. Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
