Preparation
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 325°F (160°C) and line the basket with parchment paper.
- Scoop chilled dough into balls and place them spaced out in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry the cookies for 6-8 minutes, until golden on the edges and slightly underbaked in the center.
- Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
