Description

These Two Ingredient Lemon Bars combine angel food or yellow cake mix with lemon pie filling for a tangy and sweet treat that’s easy to make and sure to impress.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (approximately 430 g) angel food or yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (425 g) lemon pie filling

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend the angel food or yellow cake mix with the lemon pie filling until smooth and glossy.
  2. Grease a 33 x 23 cm baking dish with nonstick spray or oil.
  3. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 25 to 30 minutes until the top is golden and the center sets.
  5. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan. Dust with powdered sugar if desired, then slice into squares and serve.

Notes

To make a healthier version, use a low-sugar angel food cake mix or ensure your ingredients are dairy-free.
