Description

Indulgent cheeseburger bombs wrapped in golden dough, layered with savory beef, garlic, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, 1/4 cup of the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the pizza dough into a 12×16 inch rectangle and cut into 16 squares.
  3. Flatten each square, place 1-2 tablespoons of beef mixture in the center, and top with two quarters of cheddar cheese.
  4. Pinch the corners of the dough square together to seal the filling inside, then roll into a smooth ball.
  5. Place each bomb seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature of beef reaches 160°F (71°C). Let cool before serving with marinara sauce if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Unbaked bombs can be frozen for longer storage.
