Description
Indulgent cheeseburger bombs wrapped in golden dough, layered with savory beef, garlic, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
- 8 slices cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, 1/4 cup of the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the pizza dough into a 12×16 inch rectangle and cut into 16 squares.
- Flatten each square, place 1-2 tablespoons of beef mixture in the center, and top with two quarters of cheddar cheese.
- Pinch the corners of the dough square together to seal the filling inside, then roll into a smooth ball.
- Place each bomb seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature of beef reaches 160°F (71°C). Let cool before serving with marinara sauce if desired.
Notes
