Description

These Frozen Applesauce Snack Bites are a refreshing twist on a nostalgic treat, combining creamy yogurt, cinnamon, and fresh applesauce into easy, frozen bites perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit (optional)
  • Silicone mold or ice cube tray

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the creamy applesauce and yogurt. Stir until the ingredients meld into a luscious, smooth mixture.
  2. If desired, add honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
  3. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and pour in the vanilla extract; stir gently to combine.
  4. Fold in the chopped nuts and dried fruit, if desired.
  5. Pour or spoon the mixture into the silicone mold or ice cube tray compartments.
  6. Place the filled mold into the freezer on a flat surface.
  7. Let freeze for at least 3 hours or until completely solid.
  8. Once frozen, gently pop them out of the molds or trays.
  9. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer. Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes if they are difficult to remove from the molds.
