- 1 cup yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (optional)
- Silicone mold or ice cube tray
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the creamy applesauce and yogurt. Stir until the ingredients meld into a luscious, smooth mixture.
- If desired, add honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
- Sprinkle in the cinnamon and pour in the vanilla extract; stir gently to combine.
- Fold in the chopped nuts and dried fruit, if desired.
- Pour or spoon the mixture into the silicone mold or ice cube tray compartments.
- Place the filled mold into the freezer on a flat surface.
- Let freeze for at least 3 hours or until completely solid.
- Once frozen, gently pop them out of the molds or trays.
- Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
